HELLO WORLD!

My name is Alex Walker. I am a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty on St Armands Circle. My focus area is from the Skyway Bridge to Charlotte Harbor. This area includes Manatee County, Sarasota County, and the northern end of Charlotte County. Some of the larger towns in this area are Bradenton, Sarasota, Venice, and Port Charlotte. We have some of the Best Beaches in the United States on Anna Maria Island, Longboat Key, Siesta Key, Lido Key, Casey Key, Manasota Key, and my favorite Boca Grande.

Originally hailing from Nashville Tennessee, I moved to Bradenton during high school in 1999. I can relate to families with kids wanting to find the right place when relocating to a new area. My personal hobbies are reading, photography, and spending time with my family. I am a married father of two children. Our family enjoys camping, swimming, going to the beach, and exploring everything offered south of the Skyway Bridge.

For the past 17 years I have worked for the Department of Defense on a missile warning satellite program called SBIRS. Eight of those years I was in the US Air Force. The other nine years I was working for Northrop Grumman. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and a Master’s degree in Management with a concentration in Project Management. In 2020 I obtained my Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification. This professional/educational background has enhanced my analytical abilities and capability to manage complex situations. My understanding of technology allows me to utilize software to help you buy or sell your home. My knowledge of project management principles and strategies enables me to keep the real estate transaction organized on the road to closing. Communication is critically important in every endeavor that involves more than one person. In my personal experience communication was certainly essential for ensuring mission success in the military. That is why I focus on communicating well and ensure that information is being properly conveyed.

My goal is to help guide the home buyer, or home seller, through this complex process. Purchasing a home can be one of the biggest events in someone’s life and I am glad to help provide the expertise to make it through the process. Even though I have ended my service commitment with the Air Force I still live by the USAF core values of Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in All I Do.
